Welcome to Amalia!

The POPPY study is delighted to welcome Amalia Ndoutoumou to our support team as the new Trial Manager for the POPPY and POPPY Sleep studies.  Amalia started working in clinical research 7 years ago, after obtaining a Master's Degree in Pharmacy from the University of Perugia, Italy.  Before joining the POPPY team, she worked as a Clinical Project Manager at St. Stephen's AIDS Trust, where she managed all aspects of a number of HIV studies for over 2 years.  She has also previously worked at Queen Mary University of London as a Clinical Research Associate and IMP Co-ordinator for 5 years in oncology studies.

Amalia is from Italy and Cameroon, and lived in both countries before moving to London 9 years ago.  She enjoys spending time with her loved ones, gourmet cooking and discovering the world.  She has a passion for history, archeology and coffee.  And did you know that her surname means 'rainbow' in the Bulu language of Cameroon!

Welcome Amalia!
